Our 2025/2026 season is off to an amazing start as we turn the calendar over to 2026.

Some highlights from the first part of our season included:

• An incredibly successful revised registration process
• Some really fun ‘off-ice’ activities to start our season, including cornhole, line dancing, a sold out Lisa Weagle strategy clinic, euchre night…and a great open house event
• Amazing physical improvements to our Club - both planned and unplanned - and a very smooth transition into our on-ice season
• Incredible club curling in both our draw and fixed leagues, and some very tight races in many of those leagues
• Fantastic events including the Christmas in the Valley spiel, another successful Goldline pop up sale, the annual RCC Reindeer Games spiel, and another great Christmas luncheon
• We also had a very well supported Richmond Food Bank raffle - once again our RCC members stepped up to help our Community

…and we are just getting started!!

Coming up next:

• More incredible Club curling
• More work on our club logo redesign
• The graduation of our 25/26 Learn to Curl class (we’re already seeing many of these members showing up in our leagues, and look forward to welcoming many more!)
• Carefor Charity bonspiel, Novice spiel, Ends for an end to Cancer spiel, Firefighters spiel…and that’s just January!!
• We’ll also see a Bantam spiel, March hare spiel, some competitors from the Crystal Heart tournament, our RCC Tubman Sweetheart spiel…
• …and we’ll be hosting the President’s Challenge Cup in March!
• Finally - we’ll finish the season with the Battle of the Sexes spiel, assorted Club Championships, and our Spring Spiel…

Your Club is an amazing, vibrant, busy, welcoming place for all of us - and it’s all of you incredible volunteers that continue to make it that way!
